Morek AC Charger Warranty Procedure Document

Warranty Overview

At Morek, we are committed to providing high-quality products and services. Our AC chargers come with a standard 36-month warranty, ensuring our customers have peace of mind when using our products. This document outlines the warranty terms and conditions to help you understand what is covered and what is not.

Warranty Coverage

The warranty for Morek AC chargers is valid for 36 months from the date of purchase. Morek will use new and/or reconditioned components as replacement of defective ones. Morek has the right to use parts (or Products) of original or improved design for the repairing (or replacement) of the product (or its components). After Morek has repaired or replaced a product (or its components), the Product warranty continues only for the remaining portion of the warranty.

The warranty covers all parts of the product as long as it has been treated and set up according to instructions and provided that the products have not been subjected to violence, abuse, overloading, poor maintenance, improper storage or incorrect assembly. Morek will not be responsible for the product defect to comply with the product warranty if the customer continues to operate the product after the notification of potential defect or if the written claim is sent to Morek after more than 7 days from the defect detection (or when it should have been detected).  The product warranty does not apply to charging cables, connectors, sockets, plugs and software. For these items the warranty time is limited to 3 months from delivery which is considered the date of installation of the product, i.e. putting the product into use. Morek shall not be liable for damage due to third party acts, atmospheric discharges, excess voltage, chemical influences and for loss and damage in transit. The warranty does not cover the replacement of parts subject to normal wear and tear. Morek gives no warranty for the sale of used products.
The product warranty will be void if there is damage or dysfunction caused by third-party products not provided or approved by Morek, inappropriate transportation damage, improper installation, or usage outside the intended purpose.

In all the cases, the product warranty does not include:

  • Travel and labor cost of repair (including preliminary work as well as assembly and disassembly) if the repair of the product is done at the installation site due to application constraints;
  • All local operations not connected to the product (or components) replacement (for example additional protection devices installations, product maintenance and cleaning, product restart, etc..).

Warranty Procedure

  • Reach out to our customer support team with your proof of purchase, details of the issue, and maintenance records.
  • When contacting Morek, please fill out Warranty report form.
  • Our technical team will evaluate your claim based on the information provided.
  • If required, we may ask you to send the product for further inspection. Call a professional electrician to disconnect the product.

Exclusions from Warranty:

  • Any damage caused by misuse, improper installation, unauthorized repairs, or external factors such as power surges.
  • Any modifications or alterations to the original product.Important Notes
    Keep all maintenance records and proof of purchase in a safe place, as these will be required for any warranty claims.

 

The warranty period for the products starts (the “Warranty Start Date”) from the day, when the ownership moves to the owner (as evidenced by the invoice date on the purchase order). For those products the warranty period is 3 years from the date of purchase. For accessories like pedestals or cable holders, instead, the warranty period will be 2 years.
