The charging hub is designed for floor-mounted installation and utilizes a satellite architecture that enables efficient power sharing across multiple charging points. The central power cabinet delivers up to 480 kW DC output and dynamically distributes power to connected satellites, minimizing idle capacity and optimizing utilization across the site. The system supports both standard CCS2 connectors and optional liquid-cooled HPC connectors, allowing charging currents of up to 300 A for CCS and up to 500 A for HPC applications. Parallel connection of power cabinets enables scalable installations with total charging capacity of up to 960 kW.
Charging sessions can be initiated via RFID cards, web app, user app, QR code, Autocharge, or manual start, making the hub suitable for both public and fleet-based charging scenarios. Integrated credit card payment terminal support enables direct payment at the charging point for public charging networks. Connectivity via Ethernet LAN and 4G, combined with OCPP 1.6J communication protocol and compliance with ISO 15118 / DIN 70121 standards, allows seamless backend integration for monitoring, control, diagnostics, and smart charging services.
The system features a 10-inch LCD touchscreen that provides clear real-time information on charging status, power allocation, and session progress. Ergonomic cable management and plug holders ensure safe and convenient handling in high-traffic environments. The charging hub is housed in a robust galvanized steel enclosure with IP54 ingress protection and IK10 impact resistance, ensuring reliable operation in demanding outdoor conditions.
Engineered for continuous commercial operation, the system incorporates forced air cooling for standard CCS configurations and liquid cooling for HPC connectors, enabling efficient thermal management at high power levels. Comprehensive electrical protection includes over- and under-voltage protection, over-temperature protection, leakage detection, and protective earth grounding. Dynamic Load Management (DLM) is available to optimize grid capacity when deploying large-scale multi-charger installations.
